Aurelia vs Codex
Codex covers far more networks and handles far more requests. Aurelia is plain REST with no monthly plan, and costs less per request.

|---|---|---|
| API | REST and one WebSocket | One GraphQL endpoint, WebSocket subscriptions and webhooks |
| Networks | 5 | 80+ |

When Codex is the better fit
- You need a network beyond Aurelia's five. Codex lists more than 80.
- You need more than 30 requests a second.
- You want webhooks, or GraphQL. Aurelia has neither.
- You need Polymarket or Kalshi data.
When Aurelia is the better fit
- You are on one of Aurelia's five chains and want to start for $5 instead of $360 a month.
- You want plain REST:
curla URL, read JSON. - You read holders a lot: $0.28 per 1,000 against $1.20.
Switching
- Create a free account: 10,000 credits, no card and no subscription.
- Point one read at Aurelia and compare the answer with what you have now.
- Move the rest when you are happy. Prepay from $5 in USDC on Solana.
