Aurelia vs Birdeye
Both are REST APIs with WebSockets for live data. They differ in how you name a chain and how live data reaches you.
| Aurelia | Birdeye | |
|---|---|---|
| API | REST and one WebSocket | REST and WebSockets |
| Naming the chain | In the path or query: /tokens/solana/<address> | An x-chain header, which defaults to Solana |
| Live data | One socket for every chain and channel | A socket per chain |
| Price | $0.28 per 1,000 credits, $0.224 from a $280 deposit | See Birdeye's pricing |
Birdeye's details are from Codex's guide to migrating from Birdeye. We could not read Birdeye's own price list, so we do not quote it here.
When Birdeye is the better fit
- You already build on Birdeye and it does what you need.
- You need a chain Aurelia has not listed yet.
When Aurelia is the better fit
- You want a call to name its chain, so one request can mix chains:
GET /pricestakes up to 100 tokens on any of them. - You want one socket across chains. See the WebSocket API.
- You want to pay as you go from $5, with no plan. 10,000 credits are free to start.
- You want answers that say what they cover. An unknown PnL is null, never 0. See Data and coverage.
Switching
- Create a free account: 10,000 credits, no card and no subscription.
- Point one read at Aurelia and compare the answer with what you have now.
- Move the rest when you are happy. Prepay from $5 in USDC on Solana.
Aurelia is an independent API and is not affiliated with Birdeye. Other APIs' figures are from their public pages, read on 4 November 2026. They change, so check the sources before you decide.
