# MCP server

> Give an AI agent live onchain data. Aurelia hosts an MCP server, so there is nothing to install: add one URL and your API key.

## The endpoint

`https://app.aurelia.build/mcp` speaks Streamable HTTP, on protocol revisions from 2024-11-05 to 2026-07-28. Listing its tools needs no key. Calling one needs [a free API key](https://app.aurelia.build/guides/quickstart), and is one ordinary API request on your credits and limits.

## Connect your client

Claude Code:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http aurelia https://app.aurelia.build/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer aur_YOUR_KEY"
```

Cursor: .cursor/mcp.json:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aurelia": {
      "url": "https://app.aurelia.build/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer aur_YOUR_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

VS Code: .vscode/mcp.json:

```json
{
  "servers": {
    "aurelia": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://app.aurelia.build/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer aur_YOUR_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Clients that only run local servers, such as Claude Desktop, through mcp-remote:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aurelia": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://app.aurelia.build/mcp",
        "--header",
        "Authorization: Bearer aur_YOUR_KEY"
      ]
    }
  }
}
```

A client that only takes a URL can use `https://app.aurelia.build/mcp?apiKey=aur_YOUR_KEY`. The key is then part of the URL, so use a header when you can.

## What to ask it

- What are the most traded new tokens on Solana right now?
- Who holds this token, and how concentrated is it?
- Does this token show a honeypot signal or a sell tax?
- How has this wallet done over the last 30 days?
- Chart this token's last day, hour by hour.

## Tools

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| `get_plans` | The plans and their limits, the WebSocket caps included, as the API enforces them, so a client never hardcodes them. |
| `get_chains` | Every listed chain: how far indexing has got and how far behind the tip it is, and the chain's last 24 hours: volume, trades, traders, new tokens and pools. |
| `get_tokens` | One list of tokens for every purpose, one row shape in every mode: up to 100 tokens by address (`tokens=`), a search by address, symbol or name (`q=`), or a screener over chains with range filters and sorts, a launchpad's tokens, or a creator's (`creator=`, dev history). |
| `get_prices` | The USD price of up to 100 tokens on any chains, now or at a past moment, and the swap each comes from. The cheapest read the API has. |
| `get_token` | Everything about one token: metadata, logo and socials, creation and creator, supply, price, stats and fees paid per window, ATH and ATL, bonding curve, market cap and FDV, holders summary, security checks, and its pools with the chart pool first. |
| `get_token_holders` | Who holds a token now: its largest holders with their balance, share, USD value, labels and position (PnL), the holder count where it can be known, and how complete the list is. |
| `get_token_pools` | Every pool of a token, busiest or deepest first, each with its state, price, liquidity and stats over 5m to 24h. |
| `get_token_candles` | OHLC bars of a token, in USD or in its quote token, from the pool that charts it. The answer names that pool. A price history is the bars' closes. |
| `get_pool` | A pool's metadata, both tokens, its live state, and its market: price, liquidity, and stats over 5m to 24h. |
| `get_pool_candles` | OHLC bars of a pool's base token, in USD or in the quote token. |
| `get_trades` | One trade feed, newest first: a token's trades in all its pools, a pool's, a wallet's, or a transaction's, filtered by side, USD size, trader or label. One row shape everywhere, with the trader's labels. |
| `get_token_traders` | A token's traders ranked by PnL, realized PnL or volume, over a window or all time, or its first buyers; each with its position, labels and first buy. |
| `get_wallet_portfolio` | A wallet's holdings now, read from the chain and valued in USD, its liquidity positions in the pools Aurelia indexes, each token with the wallet's position in it; and who the wallet is: its labels and its first funding. |
| `get_wallet_list` | Several wallets' portfolios with totals, on every listed chain each address fits (`wallets=`); or wallet discovery: the top wallets by PnL, volume or win rate, by label. |
| `get_wallet_analysis` | A wallet's PnL, win rate, volume, return distribution and PnL timeline over a window, with its labels. |
| `get_wallet_positions` | Every token the wallet traded since indexing began, open, closed or all: amounts, average prices, realized and unrealized PnL. With `token=`, one position. |
| `get_wallet_history` | What a wallet's holdings were worth over the last day, week or month; with `token=`, one position's balance, value and PnL over time. |
| `get_wallet_activity` | Every transaction of a wallet, newest first, with what it did: swaps, liquidity adds and removes, and transfers; on Solana complete, read from the chain. |
| `get_chain_pulse` | The chain's board of launches: fresh launches, bonding curves close to graduating, and fresh graduations, filtered and sorted. A snapshot at most a few seconds old; follow it with the pulse channel. |

Every tool only reads. Nothing here places a trade, and nothing is financial advice.

## What it costs

The same as calling the API yourself, because that is what happens: most tools cost 1 credit, and an account starts with 10,000 free, with no card and no subscription.
